Greater Things Prayer Experience

Getting Started

Welcome to the Greater Things prayer experience. This guided journey is designed to help you reflect on how God has moved in your story and ask Him to do even greater things in our lives, in our church, and in our community. While it’s designed to last about 30 minutes, you can take as much or as little time in each space as you choose. However long you linger, we’d encourage to engage fully in each stage of the experience.

Take a few minutes right now to invite God into your prayer experience today. Tell Him that you want to hear from Him as you consider the greater things He may want to do through each of us.

Station 1 - Psalm 77 - Track 2

Throughout the scriptures, God called His people to remember. In order to give them courage and confidence to face the challenges of their future, He often reminded them of the ways He had been faithful in the past.

The same is true for us. As we dream about the greater things God may want to do in our lives and in our church, we begin by remembering how He has worked in our past.

Station 2 - North Campus Video & Dart Board - Tracks 3 and 4

Northshore is a church together for those in need. There are needs all around us: struggles with homelessness, addiction, and mental health. There are economic challenges, racial challenges, and social challenges. The list goes on and on. And then there are needs that are harder to see. So many people dealing with a sense of loneliness, strained relationships, and uncertainty about the future.

We believe God sees those needs. We believe God cares about those needs. And we believe God wants to use Northshore to be His hands and feet in addressing those needs. If you could ask God to solve any of the many needs in our community, which would it be?

Northshore is also a church together for those in need.

Station 3 - Next Generation - Track 5

Northshore is a church together for the next generation. A student who grew up at Northshore told us: “My name is Macy and I grew up at Northshore. Through Northshore’s Kids Ministry, I learned about Jesus and experienced His love in my life. I am so thankful for all the pastors, teachers, small group leaders, and volunteers who have helped me learn about God and His love for me. Each of them was part of building my faith in Jesus. As a teenager, I’ve had the chance to give back by volunteering as a life group leader to help the next generation experience God’s amazing grace as well.

Northshore has always been a place that cares about kids and students. But we have a chance to make our Kids ministry spaces even more engaging and more accessible for everyone. On the screen you’ll see images of what this newly renovated space may look like. We’re praying God will use Northshore in an even greater way to help my generation and the ones that come after us hear about Jesus.”

Greater Things Wall - Track 6

We are a church together for our neighbors, the next generation, and those in need. God has done extraordinary things in our community and around the world through Northshore. But we believe He is just getting started. As God continues to lead us into the future, we’re asking Him to do even greater things in our church and in our community. But there may be some greater things God wants to do in your life. Maybe it’s to repair a broken relationship or to bring freedom from an addiction or fear. Maybe it’s to bring you to a deeper place of faith and confidence in God’s goodness. Maybe it’s to use you to serve or touch the lives of those around you. Maybe it’s to give you courage to trust Him financially and take a bold step of generosity.

What Greater thing are you asking God to do in and through your life?
